The apartment is located on the top of Montmartre, by the Place de Tertre and the Basilica Sacre Ceur. From the apartment, you may see a fabulous view of Paris on one side and the Sacre-Coeur on the other. Other nearby attractions : Museum Dali, museum Montmartre, many art-galleries, Moulin Rouge etc.
With all its traditional old settings, this part of Montmartre is charming and peaceful. It is a real oasis in the lively 18th arrondissement with many romantic typical restaurants, bars, shops, art-galleries. The famous french film, AMELIE POULAIN was shot there.
The apartment is bright and clear with its large windows and truly romantic and magnificient views. Although it is only located on the 2nd/3rd storey, one gets the sensation of being on the 20th floor due to its naturally raised ground. It is located in a 19th century building with elevator and an extremely helpful and nice in-house concierge. The apartment measures 52m2 or 560 sq ft.
Once you enter the apartment, you'll see a corridor which divides the apartment into 2 parts, with the bedroom on the right hand side and the living room on the left hand side which has access to the kitchen.
The living room :
The living room is furnished with a sofa and couches, a coffee table, a chest of drawers, a beautiful period chimney, a dining table for 4, TV and Telephone/Fax (restricted) and a small office with cabinets at the other end where you can put a Futon (as guest bed of 140 x 200 cm). The large window gives you a romantic view of the Sacred coeur basilique.
The bedroom :
A double bed with closets is available in the bedroom. There is also a baby cot available upon request. The large french window gives you a panoramic 180° view of Paris and its roof-tops.
Kitchen :
You'll find a fridge, a gas stove, and complete kitchen utensils and crockery in the kitchen. The window overlooks Sacre Coeur basilique.
The bathroom :
The bathroom is attached to the bedroom and it has a good view of Paris. There is a shower, a washing machine and a clothesline to dry clothes in the bathroom.
The toilet is accessible from the corridor on your right near the living room end.
This is a NON SMOKING apartment.
Heating :
Electric heating: can be regulated individually.
