The neigbourhood
This lovely studio is situated in a quiet and safe street; the rue Frederic Sauton. Overlooking the Notre Dame Cathedral, the 16th century building has a lot of charm. The main advantage of residing in the heart of the Latin district is that it is close to most places of interest and curiosity stops. The flat is just 50 meters away from the Boulevard St-Germain, 50 meters away from Notre-Dame Cathedral and the River Seine, and also very near the Sorbonne University.
Plenty of restaurants, bars, cafés, health clubs, a swimming pool, supermarkets and varied shops are available within short walking distance (less than 200 meters).
This studio
This studio faces a quiet courtyard and is located on the ground floor of a 16th century walk-up building. The main door is protected by an iron gate and a security system. In the apartment, there is oak wooden floor everywhere except in the bathroom and toilets (just outside the studio) which are all tiled. There are also apparent beams and a 320 cm-high ceiling, which has kept its charm and gives a very French and authentic atmosphere to the room. The large window (with wooden shutters) makes the room luminous.
Our studio is best suited for a couple or students. There is a single mezzanine bed - reachable with a ladder - and a sofa that easily converts into a double bed (140 cm wide). The studio is also furnished with a bedside table and a lamp, a wooden table, two chairs, shelves, a little sideboard with a kettle.
The kitchenette
The kitchenette is equipped with only very basic amenities for quick meals and is not suitable for real cooking as there is no sink or any water point. However, there is an electric burner, a small fridge, basic cooking utensils and crockery for two people.
The small bathroom
The bathroom is right outside the studio. It is private and belongs only to the studio. It is furnished with a wall-mounted showerhead and showers onto the toilet, and a little washbasin surmounted by a mirror.
Heating :
The heating is electric.
